In honor of Jim and Susan Stuart Jr’s extreme generosity and dedication to finding a cure for diabetes and its complications, The Jim and Susan Stuart Jr. Circle of Giving was created to recognize the commitment of the Lincoln Chapter’s largest donors.

The Stuarts became involved with JDRF in 1996, in November of 1997, their daughter Megan was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.  Inspired by Megan’s courage, they have continued to lead the way in funding research to find a cure.  Their goal as donors is not only to support the research to find a cure for diabetes, but also to motivate others to join them in their efforts.  The entire Stuart family has joined them in their efforts to find a cure.

Beginning in 2009, the Chapter will recognize individuals who have provided $10,000 or more in financial support to the JDRF Lincoln and Greater Nebraska.  Through Jim and Susan’s inspiration and your help, the Circle of Giving will continue to develop and help to realize a cure.
